Kendall (KJ) Banks

MS, LPC

Hi! I’m KJ, a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss, family conflict, school-related stress, and major life transitions.

My approach to therapy is warm, relational, and trauma-informed. I believe healing begins in a space where people feel safe, understood, and supported. When working with children and adolescents, I often incorporate play-based techniques along with approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills to help them better understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while building coping skills, confidence, and emotional regulation.

I also enjoy working with adults, couples, and families as they navigate communication challenges, relationship stress, and important life transitions. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop healthier patterns, and feel more confident navigating their relationships and daily lives.

I strongly believe that progress is most meaningful when therapy is collaborative. When working with children, I partner closely with parents and caregivers through ongoing communication and parent sessions so that growth can continue outside of the therapy room as well.

It is an honor to walk alongside individuals and families as they move toward healing, resilience, and growth.
